TATA MANZA CS FOR INDIA.

After the government decision of taxing rules for cars above 4 meters, every car manufacturing companies are working to keep the length of cars within 4 meter. TATA, theIndia’s most leading car manufacturing company is the first to launch the Compact Sedan. Now, TATA Automobiles decided to add another Compact Sedan to its product range “TATA Manza CS”. No doubt, the car will be less than 4 meter, so that the consumers can avail a good car for cheaper prices. Expected the car will do well as the current Manza is acquiring a good number for TATA.

Cropping the boot to get a midsize saloon under the crucial four-metre mark to benefit from the excise duty relief is a successful formula. Ask Tata Motors whose Indigo CS has been a big seller since launch. Tata would want to emulate this success with the Manza too and is said to be developing a sub- four-metre variant. If launched, the CS could use the Vista’s 1.2 petrol and 1.3 diesel engines. Like the Indigo CS, pricing should be competitive.

The customers will get benefit from the tax exemption, if the car is less than 4 meters and the petrol engine is less than 1.2 liter and the diesel engine is less than 1.5 liter. The benefit directly reduces the price range up to 40,000. The car manufacturers are interested to take this advantage. However, there is no compromise in the interior space, wheel base and luxury. But, the boot space will be decreased than the original sedan.

Time can elaborate the kind of engine will be used in TATA Manza CS. Keeping in mind, if TATA will use any petrol engine less tan 1.2 liter, then the power of the car will decrease and if the engine power is more than 1.2 lts, then the benefit from tax exemption can’t be availed. It may be possible that TATA will launch the car only in Diesel segment with a 1.3lts engine. With the time, the details will be published. However, it is expected that the price of TATA Manza CS will be under Rs. 6 Lakhs.
