India's most trustworthy car manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, is coming up with multi-purpose vehicle, Maruti Ertiga. Upcoming hatchback from largest car manufacturer in India is also known as Maruti R3. The six-seater family car is expected to be unveiled at the international automobile event, New Delhi Auto Expo 2012. Upcoming Maruti Ertiga is expected to be priced between Rs. 7 lacs and Rs. 8 lacs. 
This multi-purpose vehicle is designed and engineered keeping in mind the behaviour of Indian buyers. Low maintenance, fuel efficiency and spaciousness are the defining features of this car. To cater to the diverse requirements of Indian consumers, this seven-seater MUV will be launched in petrol as well as diesel versions. Upcoming Maruti Ertiga will contend with the likes of Tata Sumo Grande, Mahindra Xylo and Toyota Innova for its market share in the MUV segment. 
With an introduction of fuel-efficient MPV in the Indian market, Maruti Suzuki Indian Limited will carry on its legacy of producing consumer-centric cars. This new generation multi-purpose vehicle with an extended rear compartment will cater to the requirements of large families.

Engines & Specifications of Maruti Ertiga 
New Maruti Ertiga will be introduced in two variants, one basic and other premium in petrol as well as diesel versions. Petrol powered Maruti Ertiga is assimilated with 1372cc K series engine has maximum power of 95 hp and peak torque of 130 Nm. On the other hand, Maruti Ertiga diesel version is integrated with 1196cc engine with a capacity to deliver maximum power of 89 hp. This car is expected to be assimilated with five speed manual transmission system. Advanced technologies and components, such as anti-lock braking system, sun roof, multi-function steering wheel, parking sensors and remote fuel tank provide competitive edge to Maruti Ertiga over its counterparts.

Upcoming Maruti Ertiga has array of features to distinguish it from the competition. The foremost differential between Maruti Ertiga and its competitors, which include Mahindra Xylo and Toyota Innova, are on-road performance and fuel-efficiency. For making its own space in the MUV market in India, Maruti Ertiga needs to deliver excellent on-road performance and fuel efficiency. 

Exterior, Interior & Safety Features of Maruti Ertiga 
The multi-purpose vehicle, Maruti Ertiga feature several arrangements and components for comfort and convenience of the occupants. Sun roof, elegant chrome grille, concealed rear lamps and aluminium accents are among highlighting exterior features. Moreover, MUV is integrated with an effective air-conditioning system with heater, adjustable power steering, adjustable seats, power windows and rain sensing wipers. Central locking, adjustable seatbelts and anti-lock braking system are some of the important safety and security features of upcoming Maruti Ertiga. It is speculated that Maruti Ertiga will be launched in colours like blazing red, torque blue, silky silver, arctic white, glistening grey and midnight black.

NEW CR-V

These are the first official images of Honda’s all-new CR-V. Honda had released the first official picture of the CR-V concept last summer, and was due to unveil the production car at next month's Los Angeles motor show. However, the latest images appeared without explanation on the Honda’s Japanese website at the weekend. The CR-V is based on an all-new platform. The most prominent changes are at the front, where the CR-V features a wraparound lower front bumper that is better integrated into the rest of the front fascia than on the current car. The three-bar horizontal front grille is also much more dominant than the current CR-V’s, with slimmed-down headlights flanking it on either side. Honda claims the front-end styling changes result in much improved aerodynamics over the current car. Sculpted bodywork features on the sides, which also get more pronounced side sills. The large alloy wheels featured on the concept have been exchanged for more practical-looking variants.

Maruti S-cross facelift: What to expect

Maruti revealed a facelift for the S-cross at the Paris motor show earlier this year. The automaker’s premium crossover now gets a more distinctive front end with a new larger upright grille, new headlamps and a new bumper. The rear gets minor cosmetic tweaks as does the cabin with revised upholstery and new trim options. Maruti is planning to bring the refreshed S-cross to India late next year, and expects that the more crossover-like design of the facelift may boost sales of the slow seller.
