Panda will be available in three trim levels, 10 body colors and four different interiors, subsequent in 600 possible different combinations. A five-speed manual gearbox is given in the cabin. However, a semiautomatic “Dualogic” gearbox will be given as an option later. Out of about six engine options available in oversees market Fiat India is likely to roll out a petrol and a diesel engine for India.

Fiat India will commence the production of Fiat Panda by November this year. The company offers Fiat Punto and Fiat Linea in India. The company is doing every bit to sustain alone in harsh Indian car market as it parted ways with the Tata showrooms and decided to go for stand alone showrooms of Fiat in India. But with not many options to offer, even those showrooms will look empty. Thus bringing a new car targeted towards masses is a sincere effort to attract more Indian buyers.
