Koenigsegg AGERA R in india by 2012..

Koenigsegg Agera R is a sports car showcased internationally for the first time at Geneva Motor show of 2011. With Bugatti Veyron already available to the Indian customers, this car is also expected to make an entry into Indian markets in a very near future. Koenigsegg Agera R will be the world's first super sports car coming with engine that runs on an environment friendly E85 bio fuel.
The Swedish car is successor of Agera which is also a similar sports car running on conventional fuels. Since bio-fuels have a lesser energy content, the car makers evolved a technology with increased fuel flow resulting in a perpetual run of engine, producing same levels as the petrol engines. This Swedish car derives its exceptional performance from revolutionary technologies specially adapted for the vehicle.
These include a triplex rear suspension, aerodynamic designing with drag coefficient between 0.33 & 0.37 and pre-impregnated carbon fibre/ kevlar body. The F-1 style traction control system with 5 different handling modes and a dynamic rear wing provide stability to the car at very high speeds. These wings ensure that enough down force is generated so that its aerodynamically designed body does not leave the ground.

Engine & Specifications of Koenigsegg Agera R
Koenigsegg Agera R will come with a Euro-V compliant 5.0 litre, V8 turbo super-charged engine that churns out exceptional 1115 hp at 6900 rpm. A maximum torque of 1200 Nm could be achieved at 4100 rpm from this engine. Agera R has a drag coefficient of 0.33 to 0.37 with adaptable rear wings. These dynamic air wings instead of relying on heavy hydraulics use air drag for their operation. These wings generate a down force of 300 kg at 250 kmph. An advanced 7-speed dual clutch, 1 input shaft transmission with paddle-shift has been developed for the car.

Performance of Koenigsegg Agera R
Koenigsegg Agera R can easily reach 100 kmph speed from standstill in just 2.9 seconds. Though it has not been confirmed officially, independent testing agencies have claimed that it is currently the fastest under production supercar on road, beating the performance of Bugatti Veyron. The ventilated ceramic disc brakes can stop this vehicle within 30.5 metres of their initiation.
The Euro V and Lev 2 compliant all aluminium engine has weight-to-power ratio of 1.19 kg/ hp (dry weight). The fuel economy figures are quite okay considering it is a sports car. It travels 5.6 km for every litre of fuel in cities, while on highways it can travel 8 km with same amount of fuel.

Interior, Exterior & Safety of Koenigsegg Agera R
Koenigsegg Agera R has been designed for maximum speed and includes features that serve a definite function rather than being a mere design feature. Hence, one will not find the glittering chrome fittings and idle lines at the exteriors. The two-seater coupe comes with a removable hardtop which can be stacked under the front hood lid. Its body is fabricated from pre-impregnated carbon fibre/kevlar and includes lightweight sandwich reinforcements.
The interiors include a SatNav system, Mp3 Player, silver key, leather upholstery including carpets and a roof storage bag. For security of the occupants 4 point seatbelts have been provided. The ventilated ceramic disc brakes ensure effective deceleration without loss of vehicle stability. Rear spoiler and F1 style traction control system also ensure that the vehicle remains grounded.
Price RangeRs. 12 crores to Rs. 13 crores
