2012 Toyota Fortuner Facelifted

Toyota Fortuner facelift, the much awaited SUVfrom Toyota's stable has been revealed at a Motor Show in Bangkok. The SUV has been launched for sale in Thailand markets and is expected to enter India markets in the first half of 2012.
Toyota Fortuner Facelift 2012 exteriors:
Considering the images released on the autocarindia.com, the New Toyota Fortuner Facelift has got a new front end with slight changes in the nose, head lamps and grille. The restyledBonnet and chrome grille gives a wider beefy look for the Fortuner facelift from the front side. Roof rack and scuff plate sporting the Fortuner name can be kept optional. 

Toyota Fortuner Facelift 2012 interiors:
The interiors part has not been revealed yet. However, with the guess works going around, Toyota Fortuner Facelift is expected to have top notch interior designing including finely fabricated leather seats, appropriately faced AC vents, dashboard with music controls etc. The Fortuner facelift might have a keyless entry for the Indian version and slight modifications to suit the Indian roads.

Toyota Fortuner Facelift engine:
The Toyota Fortuner Facelift has surely got the power to serve the off-road enthusiasts. Toyota Fortuner Facelift is powered by 3.0-litre common-rail dieselmotor which is capable of generating maximum power of 169bhp, the same engine which serves Prado Land Cruiser. For the Indian version the same 3.0-litre common-rail diesel is expected to do the duties and a auto-transmission version is also expected.

Toyota Fortuner Facelift : 'Diamond Tech'
'Diamond Tech' is the new improvisation made by Toyota motors to enhance the performance, mileage and most of all the life of engine. The engine of fuel injectors will have a diamond like coating which increases the accuracy of fuel injection thereby saving the life of injectors and combustion components of the engine. Thus, the Diamond Tech provides more efficiency and mileage to the vehicle.

NEW CR-V

These are the first official images of Honda’s all-new CR-V. Honda had released the first official picture of the CR-V concept last summer, and was due to unveil the production car at next month's Los Angeles motor show. However, the latest images appeared without explanation on the Honda’s Japanese website at the weekend. The CR-V is based on an all-new platform. The most prominent changes are at the front, where the CR-V features a wraparound lower front bumper that is better integrated into the rest of the front fascia than on the current car. The three-bar horizontal front grille is also much more dominant than the current CR-V’s, with slimmed-down headlights flanking it on either side. Honda claims the front-end styling changes result in much improved aerodynamics over the current car. Sculpted bodywork features on the sides, which also get more pronounced side sills. The large alloy wheels featured on the concept have been exchanged for more practical-looking variants.

Kia Motors set to enter India

It’s no secret that Kia Motors, a part of the Hyundai Motor Group has been exploring an entry into the Indian market for several years. In fact, it’s surprising that Kia has taken so long to enter such an important market that has long been ripe for the picking. Newbie Kia has the massive advantage of piggybacking on sister brand Hyundai, which is a hugely successful in India, to tap a country forecast to have five million car buyers ever year, by 2020.    Kia’s model line-up which ranges from budget hatchbacks to premium SUVs and sedans would be well suited to the Indian market, especially since many of them share the same underpinnings with popular Hyundai models in the market.
