Rolls Royce Wraith convertible may launch mid-2016.
The Rolls Royce Wraith convertible has been spotted testing again, after it was first seen doing the rounds near BMW's Munich headquarters last year.
The Wraith convertible shares its wheelbase and the two-door layout with its sibling, the Wraith. However, in terms of styling - including the gently sloping rear deck - it takes after the Ghost. The test car in the images shows a hard top covering the actual soft top that the Wraith convertible will get when it goes into production.
The Wraith convertible will use the same 624bhp twin-turbo 6.6-litre V12 engine as in the standard Wraith, but is expected to lack the focused drive as seen in its sibling.
The model, currently billed as the Wraith Drophead Coupe, may also be given its own distinct name as was seen with the launch of the Wraith (it was initially labeled as the Ghost Coupe).
The Wraith convertible is expected to launch globally by mid-2016.
