Entry-level Tesla Model S 70D revealed.
Tesla has added a new entry-level model to its Model S line-up in the form of an all-wheel drive called the Model S 70D. The Model S 70D will replace the two-wheel drive Model S 60 in the international market.
The new Model S 70D gets two electric motors powering all four wheels, and an additional range of about 100km over the Model S 60. This new car is also a half second faster than the outgoing Model S 60 in a 0-100kph sprint and has a top speed of 225kph. The Model S 70D also gets factory-fitted features such as Adaptive cruise control and sat nav, along with the ability to plug into roadside Supercharger stations, all of which were cost options on the Model S 60.
The Model S70D will be priced higher than the outgoing Model S 60 because of the added standard kit.
