Bugatti reveals 'Ettore Bugatti' Veyron.

Bugatti has revealed the sixth and final car in its Legends series, with the model celebrating company founder Ettore Bugatti. ‘Les Légendes de Bugatti’ are exclusive editions that include the Jean-Pierre Wimille, Jean Bugatti, Meo Costantini, Rembrandt Bugatti and Black Bess editions.

As with other models in the series, the car is based on the Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse, which is capable of 409kph and can sprint from 0-100kph in just 2.6 seconds. Power comes from an 8.0-litre W16 engine with 1184bhp and 153kgm of torque.

According to Bugatti the design of the model is "dedicated to Ettore Bugatti's passion for the unusual", and as such features body panels crafted from clear-coated carbonfibre and polished aluminium. The exterior styling is designed as homage to the original Type 41 Royale of 1932. Bespoke diamond cut alloy wheels also feature, while Ettore Bugatti's signature is engraved onto the fuel filled cap.

Inside, two different types of leather are used to trim the cabin and blue-finished carbonfibre accents serve to further highlight its limited-edition nature. A platinum-coated dancing elephant motif can also be seen, another homage to the Type 41. The sculpture was originally made by Ettore's brother, Rembrandt Bugatti.
Looked on as one of the 20th century's greatest automotive pioneers, it's fitting that Bugatti's final Legends car should honour its founder. The first car in the series, unveiled at the Pebble Beach show in August last year, was dedicated to racing driver Jean-Pierre Wimille. Other entries have honoured Jean Bugatti, Meo Constantini and Bugatti's own Type 18 Black Bess.

As with other entries in the series, this Ettore Bugatti special edition is limited to three units, with each model costing £1.8 million (approx. Rs 15 crore). All six Legends cars will be seen at the Pebble Beach event next week.

Bugatti boss Wolfgang Dürheimer said, "Ettore Bugatti always strived for the creation of a total work of art. His ideas and vehicles set the foundation stone for an automobile brand that was lauded then and now as the most valuable in the world. Ettore Bugatti himself is a legend. It was clear from the start that we should dedicate the final Legends model to him personally."

NEW CR-V

These are the first official images of Honda’s all-new CR-V. Honda had released the first official picture of the CR-V concept last summer, and was due to unveil the production car at next month's Los Angeles motor show. However, the latest images appeared without explanation on the Honda’s Japanese website at the weekend. The CR-V is based on an all-new platform. The most prominent changes are at the front, where the CR-V features a wraparound lower front bumper that is better integrated into the rest of the front fascia than on the current car. The three-bar horizontal front grille is also much more dominant than the current CR-V’s, with slimmed-down headlights flanking it on either side. Honda claims the front-end styling changes result in much improved aerodynamics over the current car. Sculpted bodywork features on the sides, which also get more pronounced side sills. The large alloy wheels featured on the concept have been exchanged for more practical-looking variants.

Maruti S-cross facelift: What to expect

Maruti revealed a facelift for the S-cross at the Paris motor show earlier this year. The automaker’s premium crossover now gets a more distinctive front end with a new larger upright grille, new headlamps and a new bumper.
