FIAT LINEA, GRANDE PUNTO UPGRADED.

Fiat has launched updated versions of the Linea saloon and Grande Punto hatch. The facelift can be observed more with adding new features to the car without quite bringing any changes to the engine options or performance in both the revamped versions

All Linea variants now get automatic headlights, rain-sensing wipers and the Linea Emotion diesel variant gets the same 16-inch turbine-blade alloy wheels, earlier available only on the petrol T-Jet variant.

Both cars get an upgraded air conditioner unit and more ground clearance – now at 185mm. There are some revisions to the 92bhp 1.3-litre diesel engine as well. The base-variant Punto, the Active, now gets an audio system similar to the Linea’s.

A new pair of headlamps with the auto on/off feature is another addition apart from the real facelift along the car exteriors  which is more than evident from the makeover while retaining the 90 Bhp 1.4 L petrol engine and a 93 Bhp 1.3 L multijet diesel powertrain. A new Blue color option is also introduced as a part of the makeover. The new Fiat Punto also got a Blue color option new to add to its available color options, while the ground clearance of the new Fiat Punto is subjected to see a sea change to 195 mm in the 1.2 L petrol variant while the 1.4 L petrol new Fiat Punto gets a 185 mm of ground clearance.
